How to determine whether a storage tank is a custom-made device or a standard one? Many people say that equipment designed according to standards is standard equipment, but this is a bit hard to grasp; I don’t quite understand it. I would appreciate some guidance from those who are more experienced on this forum: handshake

Storage tanks are generally custom-made, as the number, size, location of connections, as well as the pressure rating can all vary. Additionally, the design pressure for storage tanks themselves also differs from one another, which is why they are essentially custom products
Is it a non-standard device or a standard device? It seems there’s no definition for this aspect
