Clause 8.2 of GB15.4-2011: It is determined whether post-weld heat treatment is required for containers and their pressure-bearing components based on the material, the thickness of the welded joints (i.e., the thickness after weld heat treatment), and design requirements. 8.2.2 Containers and their pressure-bearing components that meet one of the following conditions shall undergo post-weld heat treatment: Q345R > 32 mm in the first row of Table 5. My confusion: What is the thickness of a welded joint that is 60 mm thick? Is this sentence correct or not? Could everyone please take a look at this for me? Thank you!

I won’t do it; doing it would actually be bad for the wrapped cylinder
With such a thick head, if it is wrapped around the cylinder, is the inner cylinder made of quenched and tempered steel? Is it because of this that heat treatment isn’t possible?
Clause 12.3.1 of GB/T150.4-2011 stipulates that for various weld joints on multi-layer wrapped vessels that are welded to the wrapping sections, no post-weld heat treatment is required after welding.
Does this sentence mean that, no matter how thick the component being welded to is, post-weld heat treatment is not necessary?

Heat treatment is necessary; it’s required for thicknesses greater than 32. Local heat treatment can be used, but the cylinder itself needs to undergo heat treatment.
My understanding is that post-weld heat treatment is not necessary.
I haven’t figured it out yet; have you already? So, should we do it or not?
