I think it is not needed, but another engineer said it is. This is a logo transplant. I think the logo can be handwritten instead of stamped. This stamp will affect component performance. This should be determined according to different materials. Generally speaking, ordinary carbon steel materials should be marked with steel stamps, stainless steel should be marked with labels or special stainless steel markers, and low-temperature container materials should be stamped with stress-free stamps.
We use ordinary carbon steel, but the standards don’t say that it must be stamped. Let me ask you again, how to operate the stress-free stamp? My personal understanding is that logo transplantation can only be retained during the production process. After the product is completed (after the nameplate is put on), all transplanted logos can be erased. Of course, the corresponding information is available.

If it is a large batch of carbon steel heads, the manufacturer buys the plates themselves, and the plates have different batch numbers, etc., and then entrusts the head manufacturing factory to process them. I personally think that because it may need to be heated by a heating furnace, the corresponding handwritten marks may be destroyed. The edge of the circular plate, after the head is formed, can be stamped with a steel seal on the part above the straight edge section that can be processed later.
It seems that the standard stipulates that there is no need to stamp it. I have seen it before.
