The installation method is the same. The factory still prefers to use metal wound gaskets; how can the leakage problem be solved? Why is this the case? Please, experts, explain it to me

Metal wound gaskets should be the most flexible type of gasket; it’s incomprehensible if such gaskets still allow leaks to occur. The key to using this gasket lies in the method of tightening the bolts. To ensure even gaps around the flange, tighten it diagonally in stages; do not tighten it too much all at once or to completion in one go. It’s common sense. Yet this is also a skill that maintenance workers can be proud of. Especially for large-diameter flanges, it is likely due to human factors; for reference only.
