The software has a field for entering the static pressure of the liquid column; once that value is entered, the thickness is calculated. Therefore, I think it is correct to use a design pressure that does not include the static pressure of the liquid column.
In SW6, only the data input for the upper head contains the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column; the program should have taken this hydrostatic pressure into account in all other areas
Under what circumstances does the liquid column static pressure occur on the upper head? There is no area on the lower head where liquid column static pressure is applied. If the software handles this automatically, is it true that it will omit this value when it’s less than 5%?
When the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column needs to be taken into account, the design pressure in the calculation software can be filled in as the calculated pressure; if there is a separate option for entering the hydrostatic pressure of the liquid column, then that value should be entered separately

The static pressure of the liquid column required by SW6 depends on the density of the working medium and the liquid level height during operation; it still has an impact even when the pipe extensions are quite long. In some cases, the design pressure corresponds to the pressure at the top of the water seal created by the liquid column
