Does a jacketed reactor fall under the category of pressure vessels?

Dear experts, my company has a reaction vessel. Since heating is required for the reaction, a jacket has been added to the outer wall of the vessel; the medium used is steam at a pressure of 0.2 MPa, and the volume of the jacket is 8 cubic meters. May I ask whether this jacket constitutes a pressure vessel? Also, the inside of the reaction vessel is at a slight positive pressure – so does the reaction vessel count as a pressure vessel?

You’re taking a non-pressure vessel and modifying it into a pressure vessel without authorization – that’s quite impressive! This can easily lead to being caught and fined. Change the steam to hot water, and then it won’t be an issue; or change the jacket to an outer coil and an inner coil.
