Is the price of a heat exchanger estimated based on its model, or on the weight of the tube side and shell side? Thank you all!
It’s definitely estimated based on different materials and weight
1. Design fees 2. Material costs 3. Manufacturing labor costs and outsourcing fees 4. Inspection costs 5. Company profit 6. Packaging and shipping costs
We make estimates based on the unit price per ton. For example, in the case of ordinary carbon steel heat exchanger tubes, the estimate is made based on their weight (shell and tubes combined); depending on the region, the price ranges from around 12,000 to 15,000 yuan per ton.
