In the design of U-tube sheet heat exchangers, can \"O\" rings be used as gasket materials at the tube sheet? During the production process, repeated disassembly and assembly may be required. If wound gaskets are used, they are generally discarded after just one use, and they require high standards for assembly. On the other hand, \"O\"-rings not only provide reliable sealing but can also be reused, thereby reducing the difficulty of assembly. Of course, the operating temperature of “O” definitely needs to be taken into consideration.

At what high pressure cannot it be used? Which standard specifies this clearly? I want to use an O-ring as a seal now, but I can’t find any basis for this; please advise
