Dear colleagues in the offshore oil industry: I am eager to take on a design role as soon as possible. I have been working on the production front line, with experience in various industrial areas and equipment management; currently I am engaged in equipment design, focusing on pump selection and the design of storage tanks and other equipment. What can I do to get started more effectively and quickly?
Find a good teacher. Read more standards and definitions, work harder, and think more about why.
