Can kerosene penetration replace the water filling test?
As specified in the drawings, any changes require written approval from the original design unit
I believe kerosene penetration testing cannot replace the water filling test, because the water filling test is not only used to check the density of weld joints; it also allows for the pre-settling of the storage tank foundation, and enables the monitoring of settlement patterns
