The exhaust temperature of the heating furnace was 120°C; there was no condensation at the bottom. Later, condensation suddenly appeared at the bottom. After analysis, it was suspected that the low external temperature was responsible for the decrease in temperature of the exhaust gas after it reached the chimney. An attempt was then made to raise the temperature to 160°C, but condensation still occurred at the bottom ? What on earth is going on here? Could some expert help analyze this?
In addition to environmental factors, the dew point temperature also depends on the properties of the fuel; for example, an increase in the S, H, and H2O components in natural gas will lead to a rise in the dew point temperature. Is it possible there’s a problem with the fuel?
There should be no condensation at 120 degrees either. You might try adding insulation to the section where the smoke is introduced at the bottom of the chimney
However, when the flue gas temperature was raised to 160°C, the effect was still poor
There is excessive water vapor entrained in the exhaust smoke, or the air preheater is leaking. Otherwise, there would be no condensation water for no reason.
