How can one determine whether a valve in a reciprocating compressor is an intake valve or an exhaust valve based on the distribution of springs inside it?
Pushing one side with a metal rod – if it can be pushed aside, that’s the intake direction; otherwise, it’s the reverse direction.
How to push it? Can you tell by taking it apart and looking at the spring distribution?
