For low-alloy steel vessels with Rm≥540MPa, the following requirements are mandatory: 01 The corners of the inner diameter of the nozzles shall be rounded, with the radius of the fillet generally taken as min{δnt/4, 19mm}. 02 Low-temperature and low-stress conditions are not suitable for materials with Rm≥540MPa. 03 After the surface of the groove prepared by thermal cutting is finished, magnetic particle testing is conducted, and it meets Grade I standards. 04 There shall be no undercut on the surface of the container welds. 05 When there are longitudinal welded joints of Type A (excluding Type A joints where the ball seal is connected to a cylinder), welding test pieces shall be prepared for each individual product. 06 After the voltage withstand test, surface non-destructive testing should also be carried out on all welded joints. 07 Its Class A and B weld joints shall undergo 100% non-destructive testing (RT/UT/TOFD). 08 The surfaces of its Class C, D, and E welded joints shall be subjected to magnetic particle or penetrant testing. 09 The surfaces of defect grinding or weld repair areas, as well as the surface of any cuts resulting from the removal of clamps and struts, should be subjected to magnetic particle or penetrant testing. 10 For longitudinal Class C joints of multi-layer wrapped container plates with Rm≥540 MPa, 100% magnetic particle or penetrant testing shall be conducted on the surface. 11 The surface of the gas-cut groove on spherical shell plates with Rm≥540MPa shall be subjected to magnetic particle or penetrant testing. 12 Double-sided welded butt joints shall be subject to magnetic particle or penetrant testing after the back side is cleaned.
