For quenched and tempered materials, the mandatory requirements for containers made of such materials are as follows: 01 Each quenched and tempered steel plate must undergo tensile testing as well as V-notch impact testing. 02 For quenched and tempered steel plates with a thickness greater than 36 mm, an additional impact test at 1/2T can be added. 03 When the thickness of the steel plate used for the shell is greater than 16 mm, ultrasonic testing shall be carried out on each plate, with a grade of I considered acceptable. 04 The blanks for low-alloy steel studs shall undergo quenching and tempering heat treatment. 05 The steel used for the nuts in the modulation state shall have a tempering temperature higher than that of the stud material used in combination. 06 For compression members made of quenched and tempered steel, cold forming or warm forming is preferred; when using warm forming, it is necessary to avoid the temperature range where the steel becomes brittle due to tempering. 07 Materials prone to reheat cracking, such as 07MnNiVDR, should undergo an additional 100% surface non-destructive testing after heat treatment. 08 Materials prone to reheat cracking, such as 07MnNiVDR, require magnetic particle or penetrant testing on the surface of their welded joints.
