Composite/multi-layer containers: The mandatory requirements for composite/multi-layer containers are as follows: 01 When performing strength calculations, the welding joint coefficient for the layer plates of the multi-layer wrapped cylinders and the fitting layers of the fitting cylinders shall be set at 0.95. 02 The entire surface of the surfacing metal deposit must be subjected to magnetic particle or penetrant testing. 03 Stainless steel and composite steel plates that require corrosion resistance shall not have hard-print markings on their corrosion-resistant surfaces. 04 When heat-treating composite steel plate containers, measures should be taken to ensure that the clad material meets the corrosion resistance requirements. 05 The pickling and passivation of the composite steel plate cladding should be carried out after heat treatment of the base layer. 06 For Class A joints of multi-layer wrapped containers with carbon steel and low-alloy steel inner cylinders, and for Class A and B joints where steel strips are wound around the carbon steel and low-alloy steel inner cylinders of such containers, post-weld heat treatment is required. 07 All laminates and linings shall be provided with leak detection holes/vent holes. 08 For the leakage test pressure of the container’s inner cylinder with incorrectly wound steel strips, the requirements specified in 12.2.3.1 shall apply.
