Our manufacturing certificate has expired and needs to be renewed, but one type of product is missing from the scope covered by the manufacturing permit. In this case, one type of product is missing within the certification renewal cycle; a commercial product needs to be manufactured before the renewal process takes place. Such a product cannot be considered a prototype, so it is necessary to prepare the software documentation for this product properly. In principle, the review panel will not examine or investigate such a product； It can be set aside or kept out of the review team’s sight, as if it has been sold. The more the review team looks, the more faults they will find. During the certificate renewal review, try not to cause unnecessary problems and avoid arguing with the reviewers. It’s fine if we admit our mistakes when we’re wrong; what’s worrying is if we’re right, as it will be awkward for the reviewers and make things difficult to resolve ； If the auditor makes a mistake, you shouldn’t point it out directly; the best approach is to ask the auditor in a polite manner to explain the relevant provisions of the regulations and standards to you.
