Clause 6.4.1 of GB/T50341 only specifies that an anti-wind ring is required for open openings. But do closed storage tanks (such as those with fixed roofs) require wind resistance rings, and how can one determine whether they are needed? Thank you

The fixed roof must be designed for external pressure; if necessary, add stiffening rings to the tank wall. The verification of these stiffening rings already takes wind pressure into account, so there is no need to verify the wind-resistant rings separately.

For closed tanks, in addition to considering the installation of intermediate wind-resistant rings as specified in 6.4.3, if the external pressure conditions in Appendix B are met, it is necessary to design reinforcement rings at the top, middle, and bottom.
