1. The installation position of the regulating valve should meet the process requirements and facilitate installation, maintenance and operation. 2. The regulating valve should not be installed in the pipe trench or pipe rack. If it must be installed at a high place, a platform should be added. 3. If the regulating valve is equipped with auxiliary devices such as an emergency gas source tank, a handwheel, a locking valve, etc., space should be left for installation and operation. 4. The regulating valve should be close to relevant local indicating instruments. The installation size requirements of the regulating valve are as follows: 1. The distance between the bottom of the regulating valve and the ground or platform should be greater than 250mm. For single- and double-seat regulating valves with reverse-installed valve cores, space for extracting the valve core should be left under the valve body. 2. The clearance distance between the top and the bypass pipe should be greater than 200mm. The upper and lower positions of the regulating valve and the bypass valve should be staggered. The piping requirements of the regulating valve are as follows: 1. Set the shut-off valve and bypass valve of the regulating valve according to the process requirements and the special needs of the instrument. 2 The shut-off valve and bypass valve may not be installed if one of the following conditions exists: a) The operating conditions are not harsh (clean medium with a temperature not higher than 225°C and a pressure not greater than 0.1MPa), a regulating valve with a handwheel that controls non-important parameters and has a diameter greater than or equal to 100mm. ； b) Sequential control regulating valve; c) Emergency stop interlock valve; d) Butterfly regulating valve with a diameter greater than 350mm; e) Three-way regulating valve; f) Steam regulating valve of a steam turbine pump driven by a backup motor; g) Places where leakage of hazardous media (such as hydrofluoric acid, phenol, etc.) needs to be reduced. 3. For regulating valves with a diameter less than 25mm, the regulating valve can be installed above the bypass.
