In the calculation of opening reinforcement, why is the calculated thickness of the shell different from the calculated thickness inside the cylinder? what's going on
That's right, 3.7 is calculated with a joint coefficient of 0.85. Your openings will not be made vertically or horizontally. The reinforcement calculation for the cylinder is based on a joint coefficient of 1. That’s 3.16mm
The correct answer upstairs is because the coefficients of welded joints are different.
I have a question. The joint coefficient when calculating the cylinder is 0.85. When the hole is reinforced, there is no problem in taking the joint coefficient of 1.0 at the opening. But how come the joint coefficient of the nozzle is 1.0? (The design is 100% flaw detection + level II film? )
Should the joint coefficients be unified? Or the barrel and the tube are different. Is the joint coefficient the percentage of weld inspection, right? I understand that right!
