Seniors, is there any type of liquid level indicator for tanks that can resist stickiness?

We have a mother liquor storage tank. The mother liquor is black in color, weakly acidic, and quite viscous. We currently use a glass level gauge, but after just one use with this black mother liquor, the glass tube gets stained black, making it impossible to see the new liquid level. Moreover, its viscosity often causes blockages at the bottom of the level gauge, preventing it from displaying the liquid level; regular cleaning is required, which is very time-consuming. Our current approach is to replace the glass tube with a new one, seal the bottom of the level gauge, calculate the theoretical values, and that’s roughly sufficient; then we use that batch. This is very inconvenient, as there is a risk of material overflow due to human error and failed recording. After all, it’s safer to have an intuitive observation device.
