Are there specific requirements for the groove dimensions of the tube holes in heat exchanger tube sheets? Our connection method for the tube sheet and heat exchange tubes is strength welding plus expansion fitting. Usually we use an angle of 2*45°, but I’ve seen some external drawings that use 1*45°. What angle do you people generally use?

Yes, the new standard no longer requires this; under the old standard, pipes of the standard 19/25 sizes all had a minimum groove depth of 2 mm
A groove depth of 1 mm may not be sufficient.
We usually also use 2×45°; when checking the tube sheet, it is necessary to verify as well that the weld leg height is sufficient.
