I would like to ask whether fully threaded studs of grade 10.9 and 35CrMo can be used as substitutes for each other?
If it is to be used for flanges, it is likely not suitable; the standards for the accompanying fasteners do not include a 10.9 grade. Moreover, 35CrMo is intended for use in specialized fasteners, and even if used as a substitute, 10.9 grade can only replace those that are of commercial grade.
