Under the same pressure rating, can the integral IF flanges and WN flanges specified in HG/T20592 be used together?
Under the same pressure, for ordinary flanges, the connection holes on the flange covers are the same; as for different types of flanges, it’s hard to say, because in the case of pressure vessels, it comes down to the first sealing surface, while the rest relates to the pipes;
To avoid weak connections, small fittings use integral flanges; after all, integral flanges can’t be used even for those that need to be mated together
:Lol, sometimes it’s designed this way too – the overall flange directly replaces the reinforcement part. Flanges of the same pressure rating are poorly connected. To save costs, some of the titanium reactors designed feature integral flanges on the equipment, with matching flanges being provided as WN flanges.
As long as the connection dimensions are the same, they can be paired
Thank you, I wanted to use it that way too:P
They can be paired if they have the same pressure rating, the same sealing surface, and the centers of their bolt holes align.
It’s possible to do that; just compare the dimensions of the sealing surface of the pipe flange and the bolt holes – they are usually the same, so there’s no problem using it. There’s no need to use integral flanges on the pipeline itself; however, it’s normal to use integral flanges for strengthening purposes when openings are made in the pipeline
