The operating temperature for 20G should be below 425°C; your temperature is a bit on the high side. For the medium-pressure steam here (4.5 MPa, 450°C), 15CrMo is used in the design.

They are all made of 20# material; the only difference lies in the manufacturing standards. 20G is steel pipe used for boilers, and its manufacturing standards are relatively high, but it remains 20# regardless. I think it’s fine to choose 15CrMo for the equipment under these operating conditions
20G and 20# are the same; both of these materials can be used (up to a maximum temperature of 475 degrees Celsius).

Steel 20 is specified in GBT8163; regarding chemical elements and other testing requirements, it does not have as many or as strict specifications as those outlined in GBT5310. The two are completely different things. Especially the red circles.
