What is actually being asked is: why are there size tolerance requirements for level gauges?
The level gauge interface is different from other connections; if the deviation is too large, the level gauge cannot be installed.
First, you need to know what a level gauge is. If you have seen things like glass plate or magnetic flip-type level gauges, you wouldn’t ask such a question
Since the level gauge is a single unit, the two flanges on it are rigidly connected to the gauge itself. When it arrives at the site, they are directly attached to the flange at the gauge’s outlet; unlike other pipe connections which are usually separate, a deviation of 3 mm is generally allowed, and appropriate adjustments can be made when installing the corresponding flanges.
