This post was last edited by wx_Lemon13007 on 2022-12-12 21:30. For the connection of a flat-face flange to a pipe fitting, how far should the pipe fitting extend in? Is the amount that connectors of different sizes extend into the flange the same?
Refer to the flange standard HG/T 20592-2009; the general principle for selection is as follows: the length that extends inwards is equal to the flange thickness minus this value (the distance from the end of the pipe fitting to the flange sealing surface is equal to the pipe fitting wall thickness plus 1 mm).
I suggest you not ask and go to tutoring instead.
The flange standards make it clear that to work with containers, one must first be familiar with these standards; otherwise, safety issues may arise with serious consequences
For a question like this, the poster should look up the standards and solve it on their own.
