Are qualifications required for the design and installation of chemical storage tanks?

There are currently Class A storage tanks, as well as several Class B storage tanks with a capacity of less than 500 m3; these tanks are mainly used to store styrene, ethyl acetate, and benzene-based solvents. At normal temperature and pressure, it is a vertical fixed-roof storage tank. Are qualifications required for the design and installation of such storage tanks?
Atmospheric pressure storage tanks no longer have design qualifications, and their installation is unclear.
Don’t design a qualification; why don’t you give it a try?
Based on the information provided by the poster regarding the type, scale of the storage tanks, and the materials stored, this project requires design qualifications of at least Grade B or above in the petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, or Grade B specialized in those industries (in areas such as storage and transportation, chemical engineering, or petroleum refining). But now it's the design of storage tank equipment, as well as equipment installation and pipeline installation. From the perspective of special equipment, atmospheric storage tanks are not considered special equipment either, and no pressure vessel design is required. If the pipelines are not pressure pipelines, then no pressure pipeline design is necessary either. But it’s not clear what requirements the petrochemical industry has regarding the design and installation of these storage tanks.
I’m confused about these classification criteria – which ones require Category A and which ones Category B.
1. Design institutes are not divided into Category A and Category B; there are only Grade A, Grade B, etc. 2. My opinion is grade B or above, including grade A. 3. For tank design in the petrochemical industry, design qualifications are definitely required.
