If a company is considered unqualified to design and manufacture autoclaves, it can consider partnering up or finding a supplier that meets the requirements, to ensure that the products manufactured comply with relevant standards and specifications. At the same time, the company can also strengthen technological research and development as well as staff training, thereby improving its technical and managerial capabilities and laying a solid foundation for future growth. .
The “Comparative Empirical Design Method” specified in Appendix D of GB/T150.1 can be considered, but a technical review is required. In fact, the fatigue strength of the quick-opening teeth in the autoclave is what should be given more attention.
The design and manufacture of autoclaves can be carried out in accordance with GB150. The difference from GB150 is that the locking device for the quick-opening door is subject to continuous fatigue from opening and closing; as a precaution, it is advisable to conduct a stress analysis on this locking device and include the results in the strength calculation report. A Class D design will meet the requirements.
