Issues regarding the setup of single-flange level gauges

Recently, our single-flange level gauges have been showing inaccurate readings frequently. After having the instrumentation control team calibrate them, the readings were off again after another calibration attempt. The medium being measured is a liquid that is acidic and contains flocculent substances. The level gauge was recalibrated, and no issues were found with the instrument, but this phenomenon cannot be resolved. I would like to ask the experts here – do you have any suggestions or insights that could help broaden my horizons?
Our company has encountered issues with single-flange level gauges giving inaccurate readings; the reason for this was that the exhaust pipe on the atmospheric side of the transmitter had been blocked by bees, which built nests there. Second, the large air duct for maintaining balance in the storage tank is too small; when a large amount of material is introduced into the tank, exhaust is not carried out in a timely manner, resulting in inaccuracies in the short term.
First, check whether there is any blockage at the flange connection. If there is no blockage, consider replacing the transmitter; it’s likely that the transmitter’s performance is poor and its readings drift significantly.
