Classification of anchor bolts: Anchor bolts can be divided into fixed anchor bolts, movable anchor bolts, expansion anchor bolts, and adhesive anchor bolts. 1. Fixing the anchor bolts to the ground using materials such as cement allows for the stabilization of equipment that is not subject to severe vibrations or shocks. 2. Mobile footings are removable anchor bolts used to secure large machinery and equipment subject to severe vibration and shock. 3. Expansion anchor bolts are used to fix relatively simple and lightweight equipment as well as auxiliary equipment when they are at rest. 4. Adhesive anchor bolts are a widely used and common type of device, employed as well to fix small components of simple equipment. Based on their shape, they are classified into: L-shaped embedded bolts, 9-shaped embedded bolts, U-shaped embedded bolts, and welded embedded bolts. Regarding the material of anchor bolts: 1. Ordinary anchor bolts are made of Q235 steel; although it is not the hardest material, it makes it easier to shape the anchor bolts and handle their details. Q235 steel is a carbon structural steel that can generally be used directly without heat treatment. It is a very convenient type of steel. 2. Q345 deformed steel bar. It is a type of low-alloy steel, which has greater hardness. It also possesses good mechanical properties, as well as excellent low-temperature performance, plasticity, and weldability. It can be widely used in various industries. 3. Low-alloy high-strength structural steel (16Mn), which has a low carbon content and low alloy content. The main materials include: manganese materials, silicon materials, vanadium materials, etc. Due to its low alloy content, its weldability is better than that of ordinary alloy materials, so preheating is not required for welding applications. 4.40Cr steel. Compared to the aforementioned steel types, the anchor bolts made from it have the highest strength. Furthermore, after undergoing certain special treatments, it exhibits excellent comprehensive mechanical properties; it also has good toughness at low temperatures, as well as a high sensitivity to notches. Installation of anchor bolts: First and foremost, professional technicians should, in accordance with relevant design requirements, establish appropriate standards regarding various aspects such as the quantity, type, category, and material of the anchor bolts. Second, after purchasing the anchor bolts that meet the requirements, we should have the project’s technical personnel conduct relevant standard measurements. Then, based on the measured data, the position and height of the anchor bolts that need to be embedded are determined. Third, before installing the foundation bolts, the workers should first set up fixed supports. Moreover, the bottom of the bracket must be welded firmly to form a structure that meets the standards. In addition, it is essential to ensure that the fixed support has strong stability and sufficient stiffness. Fourth, after the relevant brackets are properly fixed, the foundation bolt installation process can begin. When installing the anchor bolts, it is necessary to determine the central position of these bolts based on the relevant alignment lines. Then start adjusting the parts that do not meet the requirements. And use the correct method to reinforce it firmly. Fifth, after the foundation bolts are installed, staff should use professional measuring equipment to adjust them multiple times. Ensure that the levelness and elevation of the anchor bolts meet the required specifications. Sixth, after all the foundation bolts have been installed and a thorough inspection has confirmed that they meet the relevant requirements, the bottoms of these bolts should be welded securely in place. Reinforcement measures are usually taken for the bolt brackets.
