Recently, nine units as part of the refining transformation and upgrading project as well as the ethylene upgrading initiative at Sinopec’s Maoming branch, which were manufactured by Lanchi Heavy Equipment, were completed at its facilities in Lanzhou and Qingdao. These include the first and second stage hydrogenation reactors of the 500,000 tons per year No. 1 pyrolysis gasoline hydrogenation unit, as well as the carbon dioxide and carbon three hydrogenation reactors and the methanation reactor of the 1 million tons per year No. 3 ethylene unit; all of these units are ready for shipment. The refining transformation and upgrading project at Maoming Petrochemical, as well as the upgrade project for ethylene production, have been included by the National Development and Reform Commission in the **Petrochemical Industry Planning Scheme**. These projects are key initiatives in Guangdong Province and Sinopec’s efforts to advance new types of industrialization and to promote the development of the manufacturing sector in a more advanced, intelligent, and sustainable manner. The approaches adopted, namely reducing oil production and increasing chemical product output as well as pursuing higher-end development, serve as models for industry transformation. Lanshi Heavy Equipment manufactured 9 reactor units for the project, with a maximum diameter of 4.6 meters; these units are key equipment for enabling the production of high-end chemical materials in this project. During the production process, Lansi Heavy Equipment coordinates all available resources, dynamically adjusts production plans, and formulates detailed implementation plans and technical instructions for aspects such as material procurement and manufacturing. The Lanzhou and Qingdao facilities accomplished the manufacturing tasks successfully by adjusting production processes and optimizing techniques, as well as by employing coordinated operations involving multiple devices and different types of workers; they focused their resources to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of the work. The completion of this batch of equipment provides LANSI equipment support to help the upgrading and renovation project at Maoming Petrochemical come online, as well as to ensure energy security and contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Lanshi Heavy Equipment will seize the critical period for achieving its annual goals, and by optimizing resource allocation and improving the coordination between different production processes, it will ensure that ongoing projects progress efficiently and to a high standard, thus successfully meeting all the annual objectives set.
