As shown in the figure, how can it be determined whether the DN800 PN5.0 flange belongs to Series A or Series B? I’m not very familiar with the standards; I’d appreciate some advice from experts.
This is an HG/T20615 American standard flange. For CLASS300 (PN50), there is only one series in the American standard. The outer diameter of the steel pipe is the same as that of Series A in HG/T20592.
5.0 is the US standard, equivalent to EU standard A
American standard flanges are divided into Series A and Series B; well, why is there only one series? Is the outer diameter of the steel pipe the same as that in Series A of HG/T20592? Where can it be seen? Can I use A-series gaskets with it?
5.0 is the US standard; that’s correct. Equivalent to EU standard A? Are there A series and B series for European standards? It seems there’s no score.
You can take a look at the standards; you can question others’ interpretations, but please read the standards first before doing so

It is not possible to determine whether it belongs to Series A or Series B just by looking at the pipe end specifications; one must check the detailed list to see whether HG/T20623A or HG/T20623B is indicated. The nominal pressure shown as 5.0 in the diagram seems incorrect – shouldn’t it be written as Class300?

I also checked – European-standard pipes are divided into Series A and Series B. However, the flanges I mentioned in my post are of PN5.0 standard, which isn’t available under European standards. If I describe the flange in this way: WELDING NECK FLANGE DN800 CL300(PN5.0) RF JB 4726 12Cr5Mo SH/T 3406 -15.88mm, could you help determine whether it belongs to Series A or Series B? Thank you.
In 20592, there is no 5.0
