Help: Is there any company that can manufacture hydrogen fluoride gas condensation heat exchangers? Customer’s requirements: 50% hydrogen fluoride and 50% hydrogen chloride, gas flow rate of 200 cubic feet per hour; the initial temperature of the mixed gas is 0 degrees, and it needs to be reduced from 0 degrees to -70 degrees. Is it panel-type? It would be great to take a photo, or having the model number would also help with estimation
So you’re saying the client has used similar heat exchangers? I work with plate heat exchangers – both semi-welded and fully welded types, all made of stainless steel. But I haven’t encountered any cases where these were used in this context yet. I’d be interested in discussing this and working together to find a solution
We have used fully welded plate types at the ethane unloading process site in the olefin plant, at -40 degrees℃
