Three common misunderstandings in heat exchanger inquiry. Many users only provide the heat exchange area to the inquiry unit when inquiring. In fact, no matter what type of heat exchanger, with the same heat exchange area, the prices are not comparable, and the performance shown during use will also vary greatly due to different models, different structural compositions, different material specifications, and different process combinations. Misunderstanding 2: Only buy the cheapest manufacturer. Many customers think that when asking for the same requirements from various suppliers, it should be the same thing. Which one is cheaper to buy which one is cheaper? In fact, this is often wrong. You must be good at comprehensive comparisons and refer to technical strength, manufacturing capabilities, corporate reputation, after-sales service, etc. Otherwise, the losses will be greater and it is easy to draw some wrong conclusions. As the saying goes: “We are not afraid of not knowing the goods, but we are afraid of comparing goods.” Misunderstanding 3: Using a selection sheet from a certain manufacturer to inquire about prices from different manufacturers due to their own processing capabilities, practical application experience, and recommendations * Due to factors such as habits, the user often does not fully understand a certain usage requirement and process conditions, and the design selection will be biased. If a customer makes an inquiry with such a selection sheet, it will inevitably affect the quality of the purchase. The best way is to only provide process conditions and ask each manufacturer to design and select the model accordingly.
