I currently have a vertical shell-and-tube heat exchanger that was originally used to cool gas with circulating water; it is now unused. I would like to use it to heat liquids with steam, in a horizontal configuration. I’m not sure if this is feasible, and I would appreciate your advice on this matter. Thank you.
