A few days ago, I went to a equipment manufacturing plant to inspect the equipment production process and saw such work (as shown in the picture). What kind of work is this?
Is this for beveling before welding?
All these welds have been completed; there’s no need for beveling.
This is a welding torch for automatic pistol-type tube sheet welding, used for welding pipe ends
Take a close look; the upper part has been welded, but is there any part below that hasn’t been welded yet?
All the pipe ends have been welded.
This is the automatic welding of heat exchanger tube ends.
