I would like to ask everyone that tooling is required when maintaining shell-and-tube heat exchangers – what is the purpose of this tooling?
Generally, a core puller, pressure testing fake flanges, fake heads, etc. are required.
Pressure testing requires specialized fixtures, especially for floating-head heat exchangers. It can be purchased from the manufacturer.
Work tools are merely means to assist you in achieving your goals
