Polishing requirements for crystallization equipment

I’m seeking advice from everyone: what are the polishing requirements for crystallization equipment?
We have just ordered two sets of crystallization reactors this time, both requiring mirror polishing.
The cost of mirror polishing is very high; how necessary is polishing really? Is it to prevent crystals from growing on the burrs?
After polishing, the pits on the wall surface were repaired, preventing material accumulation.
Thank you. I was wondering if you have used crystallizers that are not polished, or those with a lower level of polishing. In the case of pilot-scale testing equipment, it’s not clear whether mirror polishing is necessary, after all, the operation time is not long.
