Applications of the Fourier equation” or “2. Enhanced heat transfer in chemical engineering” (not yet decided). Vocational education in this field is not as advanced as people might think; it mainly focuses on teaching some basic knowledge of chemical engineering. If it is “1. Applications of the Fourier equation”, the class is planned to include the following sections: (1) Introduction to the Fourier equation (theory) ; (2) Applications of the Fourier equation (in daily life) ; (3) Applications of the Fourier equation (chemical production) ; If it is “2. Chemical Engineering – Enhanced Heat Transfer”, the class is planned to cover the following sections: (1) The basic heat transfer equation Q=K A Δt (theory) ; (2) Applications in daily life of improving the heat transfer rate by altering the three factors of K, A, and Δt ; (3) Application of modifying the three factors of K, A, and Δt to increase heat transfer rate in chemical production ; Given that children these days are not interested in listening in class, it is necessary to use as many pictures, animations, or videos as possible in teaching to stimulate their interest; it is especially good to illustrate chemical engineering concepts by relating them to real-life situations.
