I currently have a column made of S31603 material. Due to the nature of the medium used, after installing the packing and internal components, only pressure testing can be carried out. As a result, all welds of types ABCD need to undergo penetrant testing. I would like to ask everyone: should I conduct RT testing on each section of the column after it has passed the testing, and then proceed with PT testing on the longitudinal welds? Should we wait until all the equipment has undergone joint welding and all RT inspections are completed, before conducting PT inspections on all the welds?
