There are two hydrogen water coolers at the installation site; the circulating water flows in from below and out from below. I don’t understand their structure – some say they are multi-shell heat exchangers. Is there anyone who knows?

Then you’re wrong, buddy – a circulating water system doesn’t necessarily have to have a pipe side
The image below is not clear. The shell side in the above image is indeed quite strange. Both tube ends on the shell side are at the bottom! !
Isn’t there a hole there? Just use cold against heat, and heat against cold.
Is there anything wrong with this? There are baffles in the shell side!
Of course there are problems; which part of the shell side of a tube-and-sheet heat exchanger lacks baffle plates?……
Next to that interface, it’s marked with a marker to indicate that it should be left empty……

This post was last edited by zdl1966 on 2018-4-18 at 17:25. Look at the right header in the second image; it should be a round-trip type. I can’t figure out the structure inside. Is it possible that the condenser was installed upside down? It’s just a guess.
This is quite normal; just take a look at the image below to understand. The advantage of this is that more pipes can be installed, without the need to leave space at the top and bottom for flood protection.
