The function of the partition in the reboiler

In the regenerator of our newly installed regeneration unit, there is a partition inside the reboiler at the bottom of the regenerator. I’m not sure what function this partition serves within the reboiler If any experts know the answer, please let me know; I’d be extremely grateful
The properties of the shell-side baffle and the tube-side baffle are essentially the same; both serve to increase the number of heat exchange occasions and thus improve efficiency

When using a J-type shell, it is necessary to check whether the boiling fluid on the shell side shows a tendency toward phase separation; if so, horizontal baffles must be added on the shell side. --------“Irradiator Process Design” – I just happened to see it; I’m not sure if this is the case.
