How should one choose the steel pipe wall thickness table under the GB/T 12459-2017 standard? The 2005 version specifies the source of the wall thickness table data, while the 17th version does not. .
When making selections in our company, we generally follow the format specified in standard 05; the wall thickness is chosen to be the same as that of the piping. (According to Example 3 in the original 2005 standard: for a 90° long-radius elbow with a nominal size of DN150, an outer diameter corresponding to Series I, a wall thickness of 4.5 mm, and a material grade of 0Cr18Ni9, the designation is DN150-4.5-0Cr18Ni9 90E(L) GB/T12459.)
The wall thickness needs to be calculated based on pressure, temperature, and material, and then selected in accordance with the requirements of the system or the client
