Can ordinary bolts be used as a substitute?
Where are the positioning bolts? On the baffle spacing tube end? This has to meet the material requirements of the shell-side fluid, right? There are two positioning holes on the tube sheet, and the bolts used here are the same as those used in other parts of the tube box.
Does the poster mean the shouldered studs at the heat exchanger tube box end?
What you mean is probably the combination of shoulder bolts and anti-loosening lugs commonly used in cladding tube sheets, which serve to provide positioning and facilitate assembly. The regular one doesn’t have this function.
