There are two processes: one involves using steam to evaporate the water, with the resulting vapor and mother liquor being reused; the other process uses freezing to produce ice, which is then used for water removal, with the ice and mother liquor also being reused. Preliminary design results show that the freezing method eliminates the need for a heat exchange unit, and its energy consumption is only a fraction of that of the thermal method. I cannot confirm the accuracy of the calculation results for the two designs; I would appreciate it if experts could offer their opinions on these two design approaches.
