Why does the flow rate increase as the number of pipe segments increases?
On the premise of the same heat exchange area and the same length of tube bundle, in the single-pass configuration all tubes in the bundle are used, while in the two-pass configuration only half of the tubes in the bundle are utilized……
With the same number of pipes, the more processes there are, the smaller the flow area and the higher the flow velocity
