On site, it was observed that some pipes had their original insulation layers damaged for various reasons; after being repaired by professional insulation teams, they were put back into use. But seeing a phenomenon like the one in the picture, I’m not sure if this counts as achieving insulation effects. Is this considered acceptable? It seemed there wasn’t as much dew formation before. By the way, what standards are used to inspect cold-insulation work?

Cryogenic pipelines? How thick is the insulation layer? Polyurethane or foam glass? Was it sealed with tragacanth? Was the pipe dew cleaned during construction? Is the environmental humidity meeting the requirements?
In the diagram, the temperature of the fluid in the pipes is around –5 to 8°C. The insulation material used is polyurethane, with a thickness of approximately 50 mm. Once water gets into this polyurethane, its insulating performance is significantly reduced.

It was the same materials before too. I suspect it’s more of a construction issue, or an issue with coverage. For example, in places where there are valves, and at the connections between pipes and containers, etc
