It is a specialized computing software that uses rigorous heat transfer calculations: solving the differential equations of the unsteady heat transfer model. It is not only used to calculate jacketed reactors; calculating shell-and-tube heat exchangers is also one of the main functions of this software. This software is also the first professional and commercial software in China.
It’s quite normal; the heat exchange energy comes primarily from the latent heat of saturated steam. The inlet consists of saturated steam, while the outlet contains condensed water, and during the heat exchange process only a change in state occurs
