As shown in the diagram, why does the loop need to pass through the heat exchanger and return to the water tank? What is the difference between this approach and installing a heat exchanger directly on the supply pipeline?
The loop is circled to return to the water tank via the heat exchanger, in order to enhance the heat exchange effect. This method is called a \"loop-type heat exchanger,\" which allows for continuous heating or cooling, thereby achieving a more uniform and stable temperature. If a heat exchanger is installed directly on the supply pipeline, heat exchange can only occur as the water flows through the heat exchanger; this does not ensure uniform water temperature, and it also increases the risk of damage to the heat exchanger due to excessive pressure. Therefore, loop heat exchangers are used more widely. .
These types of diagrams are probably meant for personal use, right?:) It’s just a guess for reference only. If no return pipe is provided and the liquid inside the container is discharged, will negative pressure be generated?

As the saying goes, fluctuations in temperature and intensity can lead to colds; I believe that the process involving process cycles and buffer tanks allows for better control over both the temperature and flow rate of the liquid output. Especially since you mentioned self-reflux, there must be a collection tank at normal pressure; this tank can serve two purposes – as a buffer tank and as a collection tank
