Should there be no sharp edges or burrs at the edges of the equipment?

Should there be no sharp edges at the periphery of the equipment, and are there clear specifications regarding burrs and similar issues? What specific regulations are there? I hope you all can give me some guidance!
From a safety perspective, this is absolutely not acceptable; no device should have any sharp edges on its surface – all edges must be chamfered or rounded
